Other Design Choices
Ribbons
When it comes to ribbons, we can include as many as will comfortably fit on your Bible. Whether you’d like one, three, or even five. If they fit, they’re included at no extra cost.
We offer a wide selection of ribbon colors. Let us know the colors you’re hoping for, and we will do our best to source them for your Bible.
Spine Hubs
We offer three distinct styles of spine hubs: Raised, Pressed, and Tooled, allowing you to choose the aesthetic that best complements your Bible.
Stamping
Every Bible comes with our standard spine stamping, which includes:
- “Holy Bible” text
- The version abbreviation
- The Everbound Bibles logo
These elements can be rearranged or removed entirely at no additional cost. We want your spine layout to reflect your personal preferences.
Spine stamping can be done in gold, silver, or blind stamped (no foil), allowing you to choose the look that best suits your style.
Custom stamp designs are also available for an additional fee. If you’re interested in having a custom stamp, feel free to email us at everboundbibles@gmail.com and we’d be happy to help.
Interior Gilt Line
An interior gilt line adds a beautiful, classic finishing touch to your Bible. This thin decorative line is stamped around the inside perimeter of the cover, giving your Bible an elegant framed look when opened.
Every rebind includes an interior gilt line, but this can be removed for cleaner more minimalist interior.
Hand-Stitched Perimeter
The hand-stitched perimeter adds strength, durability, and an artisan touch to your Bible. Each stitch is done by hand to reinforce the cover’s edges and provide a premium finish.
Adding perimeter stitching improves both craftsmanship and longevity of the Bible, as well as enhancing the handcrafted appearance.
Yapp Size
The “yapp” refers to how much the leather cover extends beyond the edge of the text block. This overhang doesn’t just change the look—it also provides practical protection.
A larger yapp helps shield the page edges by creating a leather lip around the Bible. When the Bible is carried, set down, or stored in a bag, the yapp absorbs most of the contact instead of the gilded or delicate page edges.
You can choose the yapp size that fits your style and protection needs:
- Minimal Yapp – A clean, modern look with light edge protection
- Semi-Yapp – A traditional balance of style and coverage
- Full Yapp – Maximum page-edge protection with a classic, wraparound appearance
